Baby White Ones

 I wanted to perfect this fascinating circular blanket technique

This heart blanket is crocheted in Sirdar Snuggly Pearls yarn which is all sparkly and lovely

This is crocheted in a soft baby wool in white.

I love the shape of the spiral

Learning to do new crochet techniques I did an assortment of squares

Side to side crochet in pale lemon and white mix acrylic yarn

Crochet Shell Stitch in pink, purple and white acrylic

Pretty crocheted flowers with a single crochet edging 

Virus Blanket..

During this month I spent quite some time visiting a very special place.

This is what I made whilst I was there


It's crocheted following the Virus Shawl Pattern I found on You Tube


I adapted it to make a square 

It's made in Baby Rico Yarn which crochets beautifully

More and more circles..

I really enjoy crocheting these circular blankets

Sherbert Rainbow Star

This yarn reminded me of that  tangy sugary sherbet I used to eat when I was little.

It was perfect for this child sized star blanket

It was crocheted in double knitting variegated acrylic yarn.

A Circle of Hearts ..

Ok...so, I saw a blanket just like this for sale on Etsy

and thought I can have a go at making one of those !!

so I did, and here it is..

6 hearts in the middle, 12 hearts round the edge....perfect

It looks pretty amazing when completed..

The blanket is crocheted with a cream double knitting yarn which is perfectly soft.

Circular Baby Blankie...

This circular baby blanket has been a bit of an experiment but it looks like it's worked out ok...

I think it looks very pretty.

(I used a tutorial from You Tube to get the pattern right)
